HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

In July2021 we helped at a Garden Party where we held our long awaited Snail Championship (Covid delayed!). It helped to raise funds for repairs to the church spire.

In 2019 we held the first TT Races - Snail Championship Race at the summer fete to help raise money for our church. We bought and decorated, with Snails, a Christmas Tree to help towards church funds.

We supported the 2018 Summer Fayre in the churchyard by renting a stall and
getting people to decorate our Table Tennis balls and bats. We raised £170.90 to help Lostwithiel Community Centre.

We decorated a Christmas Tree for the Church fund raising 2017 Tree Festival.

We invited people to join us for table tennis and tea to celebrate
World Table Tennis Day.

Colin, this time trained by Annie Ovenden, won the 2021 TT Races, AGAIN. Can any snail beat him?

Barbara Wallbank, pictured above receiving our specially designed perpetual trophy, was the proud winner of our TT Races - Snail Championship Race 2019. Her snail - Collin easily out slid the other contestants and was a worthy winner.
