This year, 2024, our annual Snail Race Championship, The TT Races, was held at the Garden Party in Quay Street. The party was raising funds for St Bart's Church restoration. Appropriately the winning snail, Virgin Mary, owned and trained by Rev Sheila won. Crossing the line in 2 minutes 42 seconds.

The Trophy was presented to Rev Sheila by Barbara our first Champion. We raised £34 towards the fund.

Thank you to everyone who helped and entered their snails.

HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

For the annual Christmas Tree Festival 2023 we supported the church fund raising event by making orbs and adding them to the crowns we made last year to decorate our tree.

Our annual Snail Race Championship 2023 took place at the church fete and was won by Amnesia crossing the line in 2 minutes 30 seconds. Amnesia came all the way from the Wirral to compete.

For the annual Christmas Tree Festival 2022 we supported the church fund raising event by making crowns to decorate our tree.

On our stall at the Church Fete in August 2022 we raffled two Mystery Money Boxes. The boxes were full of money and no one knew how much. The money we raised went to the Church Spire repair fund.

In July 2021 we helped at a Garden Party where we held our long awaited Snail Race Championship (Covid delayed!). It helped to raise funds for repairs to the church spire.

In 2019 we held the first TT Races - Snail Championship Race at the summer fete to help raise money for our church. We bought and decorated, with Snails, a Christmas Tree to help towards church funds.

We supported the 2018 Summer Fayre in the churchyard by renting a stall and
getting people to decorate our Table Tennis balls and bats. We raised £170.90 to help Lostwithiel Community Centre.

We decorated a Christmas Tree for the Church fund raising 2017 Tree Festival.

We invited people to join us for table tennis and tea to celebrate
World Table Tennis Day.
